Week 10 Cookie Monster

On Tuesday I met with Jeff Ponders and we reviewed the effectiveness of my ads. He asked, how did I know that my customers came from where I said they came from. I shared with him that I was able to tell based on social media investigation. He stopped me right there and asked, if I had enabled cookies on my website and social media to track were my clients were coming from. I know that I had initially set up Google and Facebook Analytics when I first relaunch my website, but couldn’t find it when he asked about it. So that concluded our meeting, because I was now tasked with finding the analytics and linking them to my website to track purchases.

The sale of products is part of my funding presentation that will be presented to future funders, so I want to ensure that I am able to tell funders where my retail clients are coming from. Adding these findings to my presentation will should aid in showing future funders my ability to generate and be accountable for revenue.

In working on the Reflection Paper, I am having fun remembering the ups and downs from my previous EI courses. Reflecting on apprehensions and tensions from the courses is making the memories extremely vivid. It won’t be so hard to come up with several pages of content to provide for the submission of the Reflection Paper.  I haven’t gotten any calendars this week. I have only been contacted repeat customers. It seems as if many people aren’t lashing or still have enough product left to last. Maybe if I create another online dialogue, I will be able to gather information more effectively. As much as I would love another Zoom conference, my plate is filled with making sure I fulfill the Capstone and semester requirements.

Progress during prior week

  • Worked on funding requirements (PPP, EIDL, and Funding Presentation for Credit Union)

  • Looked at handouts, notes and projects from previous EI courses

  • Added the experiences from previous courses to Reflection Paper

  • Analyzed Calendars for Livid Lash Pro

  • Looked into Facebook and Instagram effectiveness with Jeff Ponders and updated my website and social media to enable tracking cookies.

Plans for the coming week

  • Work on info for Funding Presentations

  • Add syllabus information to Reflection Paper

  • Find effective ways to get more Calendars for Livid Lash Pro

  • Properly configure website and social media and track retail

Questions/Issues/Concerns/Observations

I am concerned about my slowed sales and even slower ability to obtain calendars.
